Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution
For the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, I decided to create an object related to this event. My inspiration was a quote by George Santayana:
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
Primarily, I wanted to create a reminder for the younger generation about socialism. I obtained permission from the Ústí nad Labem City Hall to exhibit this object in its atrium.
When selecting the motif for the space behind the keyhole, I drew from conversations with people who experienced this regime. The most common longing expressed was the restriction of freedom of movement, the inability to travel outside the bloc of "friendly" countries. For this reason, I chose my own photograph of the ocean as the motif, which is also a metaphor for freedom and liberty.

Glass vases
I aimed to achieve a glass that resembles flowing, rippling water. To accomplish this, I utilized molds for vases, which I crafted from pebbles and stones collected from the shores of Lake Milada in Ústí nad Labem.
Still in process.
